Position Overview:

The Vice President of Strategy and Transformation will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision for Global Products and Technology (GP&T) as well as overseeing the Digital & Tech initiatives. This leadership position requires a forward-thinking individual capable of spearheading transformative programs that align with the evolving technological landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Direction: Define and articulate the GP&T strategy that integrates seamlessly with the overarching Digital and Tech strategy. This includes collaboration with various business unit technology leaders, research and development teams, and supply chain operations to ensure cohesive strategic alignment.
  • Program Leadership: Oversee cross-functional GP&T programs, ensuring risk mitigation and successful delivery of outcomes. This role necessitates frequent interaction with senior stakeholders and effective management of dependencies.
  • Agile Methodologies: Champion the adoption and scaling of agile practices within the GP&T organization, focusing on the establishment of agile release trains and continuous improvement of agile workflows.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Lead the Digital and Tech portfolio related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring efficient integration processes that support the company's strategic objectives.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a value-driven Project Management Office (PMO) that encompasses governance, planning, reporting, and risk management, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Oversight: Govern all business services for GP&T, managing substantial vendor contracts and budgets effectively.
  • User Experience Design: Promote user-centered design principles across GP&T, leading a team dedicated to enhancing employee experience through effective design practices.
  • Leadership and Culture: Drive cultural initiatives within GP&T, ensuring a thriving environment where all employees can excel and contribute to the organization’s success.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale program delivery across diverse geographical regions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with external service partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Experience in leading diverse global teams.
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, business-critical situations.
