Position Overview:
The Vice President of Global Products and Technology (GP&T) Strategy and Transformation will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision and execution of key initiatives within the organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, this leader will oversee the development and governance of long-term transformation programs aimed at enhancing GP&T's capabilities in a fast-paced technological landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and articulate the GP&T strategy that aligns with the broader Digital and Technology objectives. Foster relationships with key stakeholders across various business units, ensuring collaboration with R&D, global supply chain, and compliance functions.
- Program Management: Lead cross-functional GP&T initiatives, mitigating risks and ensuring successful delivery of outcomes. Engage with senior stakeholders to manage dependencies effectively.
- Agile Methodologies: Champion the adoption and scaling of agile practices within the GP&T organization, focusing on continuous improvement and the integration of DevOps tools.
- Mergers and Acquisitions: Oversee the Digital and Technology M&A portfolio, facilitating seamless tech integration to support evolving business models.
- Portfolio Management: Establish a value-driven Project Management Office (PMO) that encompasses governance, planning, and performance metrics, ensuring accountability across all projects.
- Financial Oversight: Manage business services for a substantial workforce and vendor contracts, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with strategic goals.
- User Experience Design: Promote user-centered design principles within GP&T, leading a team dedicated to enhancing employee experience through effective design practices.
- Chief of Staff Responsibilities: Act as a strategic partner to the CTO, facilitating leadership meetings and driving special projects that align with organizational objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external partners, including senior leadership and external vendors.
- Cultural Leadership: Drive initiatives that foster a positive organizational culture, ensuring all employees can thrive and contribute their best work.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale sourcing and product delivery across diverse geographies.
- Strong relationship management skills with a track record of holding external partners accountable.
- Extensive experience managing senior-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership in complex, matrixed environments.
- Experience in leading diverse global teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, business-critical situations.
