Position Overview:

The Vice President of Global Products and Technology (GP&T) Strategy and Transformation will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision and execution of key initiatives within the organization. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the development and governance of multi-year transformation programs to ensure GSK remains at the forefront of technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and articulate the GP&T strategy that aligns with the broader Digital and Technology objectives. Foster relationships with key stakeholders across various business units, ensuring cohesive strategy implementation.
  • Program Management: Lead cross-functional GP&T initiatives, managing risks and ensuring successful delivery of outcomes. Engage with senior stakeholders to navigate dependencies effectively.
  • Agile Methodologies: Champion the adoption and scaling of agile practices within the GP&T organization, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and embedding DevOps practices.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Oversee the Digital and Technology M&A portfolio, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with GSK's evolving business model.
  • Portfolio Management: Direct a value-driven Project Management Office (PMO) that encompasses governance, planning, and performance metrics, driving accountability across all projects and programs.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage business services for approximately 1000 employees, overseeing significant vendor contracts and budgetary allocations.
  • User Experience Design: Lead initiatives to enhance user-centered design principles across GP&T, ensuring a focus on employee experience and effective collaboration with product teams.
  • Chief of Staff Duties: Act as the Chief of Staff for the CTO, facilitating leadership meetings and driving special projects that align with strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration across the organization.
  • Cultural Leadership: Drive cultural initiatives that promote engagement and a thriving workplace environment, managing a diverse team and fostering a culture of accountability and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale program delivery across multiple regions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with external service partners.
  • Experience managing C-suite stakeholders and navigating complex organizational structures.
  • Demonstrated leadership in diverse, global teams.
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
