Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, the Vice President of GP&T Strategy, Transformation & Portfolio Management Office (STPMO) will play a pivotal role in defining the strategic vision and leading essential cross-functional initiatives for GP&T (GSK Global Products and Technology) alongside GSK Digital & Tech.

Key Responsibilities:
In this prominent position, you will spearhead the development, implementation, and governance of extensive transformation programs designed to keep GP&T at the forefront of a rapidly changing technological landscape.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the Digital and Tech portfolio related to Merger, Acquisitions, and Divestment initiatives.
  • Enhancing operational efficiencies and ensuring robust command over core processes, including financial and governance aspects.
  • Defining, articulating, and executing the GP&T Strategy that aligns with the overarching Digital and Tech Strategy, covering everything from Front Line Services to comprehensive technical infrastructure and advanced Enterprise Data & Analytics platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement:
You will cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with various stakeholders, including BU Tech Leads, R&D, Global Supply Chain, and commercial and medical teams. Collaborating closely with the Cyber Security Office and Global Risk and Compliance will also be essential.

An important aspect of this role involves working with the Office of the Chief Digital and Technology Officer (CDTO) to ensure cohesive alignment across all Digital and Tech domains.

Cross-Functional Program Management:
Lead and manage all cross-functional GP&T programs, mitigating risks and ensuring successful delivery outcomes. These initiatives are often enterprise-wide, necessitating regular interaction with senior stakeholders and meticulous dependency management.

Agile Delivery Leadership:
You will be accountable for leading and scaling agile delivery within the GP&T organization, focusing on establishing and facilitating agile release trains, enhancing agile methodologies, and integrating DevOps practices across GP&T and the broader Digital & Tech organization.

Portfolio Management Office:
Manage a value-driven PMO that emphasizes governance, planning, reporting, change control, quality assurance, risk management, and key performance indicators. You will drive informed decision-making and accountability across the project portfolio while embedding robust standards and fostering continuous improvement.

Design and User Experience:
Lead efforts to enhance user-centered design understanding within GP&T, guiding a team of designers to collaborate on projects and embed design principles that prioritize employee experience and user research.

Chief of Staff Responsibilities:
Act as the Chief of Staff for the CTO, orchestrating leadership team meetings, acting as second-in-command, managing special projects, and establishing objectives and performance metrics for the team.

Team Development:
Directly manage approximately 80 employees, establishing clear objectives and accountabilities for direct reports, while mentoring and coaching to maximize their performance and potential.
