Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, the Vice President of GP&T Strategy, Transformation & Portfolio Management Office (STPMO) is tasked with establishing the strategic vision and taking charge of essential cross-functional strategies for GP&T (GSK Global Products and Technology) alongside GSK Digital & Tech.

Key Responsibilities:
In this prominent role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing multi-year transformation initiatives for GP&T to maintain a competitive edge in the fast-paced technology landscape.

You will also hold accountability for the Digital and Tech portfolio concerning Merger, Acquisition, and Divestment initiatives, driving operational efficiencies and ensuring robust command over core processes, including financial and governance aspects.

Strategic Leadership:
Define, articulate, and execute the GP&T Strategy that aligns with the overarching Digital and Tech Strategy, encompassing everything from Front Line Services to the complete technical infrastructure stack, including cutting-edge Enterprise Data & Analytics platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Foster strategic relationships with various stakeholders, including BU Tech Leads, R&D, Global Supply Chain, and commercial and medical sectors, while collaborating closely with the Cyber Security Office and Global Risk and Compliance functions.

Maintain a vital connection with the Office of the CDTO to ensure comprehensive alignment across all Digital and Tech domains.

Cross-Functional Programme Management:
Lead and manage all cross-functional GP&T programmes, mitigating risks and ensuring successful delivery outcomes. These initiatives often span across the enterprise, necessitating frequent interaction with senior stakeholders and meticulous dependency management.

Agile Delivery:
Accountable for scaling and managing agile delivery throughout the GP&T organization, focusing on establishing and facilitating agile release trains, enhancing agile methodologies, and integrating DevOps practices within GP&T and the broader Digital & Tech organization.

Portfolio Management Office:
Oversee a Value and Agile-driven PMO, including governance, planning, reporting, change control, quality assurance, risk management, and key performance indicators. Promote effective, value-driven decision-making and accountability across the project and programme portfolio while embedding robust standards and fostering continuous improvement.

Design & User Experience:
Enhance understanding of user-centered design principles across GP&T, leading a team of designers to collaborate with products and projects, ensuring a focus on employee experience and conducting user research.

Chief of Staff Responsibilities:
Act as the Chief of Staff for the CTO, orchestrating leadership team meetings, serving as the second-in-command, spearheading special projects, and defining objectives and performance measures for the team.

Team Development:
Build and nurture relationships within and outside of Digital & Tech with key stakeholders, including the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and other Tech leadership team members. Directly manage approximately 80 employees, establishing clear accountabilities and objectives for direct reports, while coaching and challenging them to maximize their performance and potential.
