The Role

We are looking for two dedicated Transformation Business Partners: one focusing on Adult Services and the other on Place and Corporate Services.

This position is crucial to the council's strategic objectives aimed at enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency through innovative transformation initiatives.

The primary function is to collaborate with designated service departments to design and execute change programs, ensuring that appropriate support mechanisms are established for successful implementation. This includes identifying areas for enhancement, shaping and driving strategic transformation efforts, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the council. Furthermore, it entails assisting the council in monitoring value and return on investment across the designated service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Transformation Planning and Execution: Develop and manage the implementation of department-specific transformation strategies, ensuring alignment with broader council goals.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement and Support: Serve as the main liaison between the business improvement team and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Change Management: Support departments through change processes, providing resources and guidance to manage transitions effectively.
  4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track progress against transformation objectives, delivering regular updates to senior management and adjusting strategies as necessary.
  5. Training and Development: Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance department staff skills in change management and continuous improvement methodologies.
  6. Policy and Compliance Oversight: Ensure that transformation initiatives adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and council policies.

The successful candidate will lead special projects and initiatives to drive transformation, possessing strong project management skills to support delivery and change throughout the organization.
