**What You'll Do**:
**Lead with Purpose**: Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management for our Employee Relations and Workforce services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of excellence and compliance.
**Innovate and Improve**: Work closely with the Deputy Director of Workforce to reengineer transactional processes and spearhead strategic projects that elevate our services and tackle key challenges head-on.
**Build Relationships**: Develop and maintain positive relationships with Trade Union colleagues and lead consultations on vital workforce issues, ensuring collaborative and constructive outcomes.
**Strategize for Success**: Implement and lead workforce strategies aligned with the Trust’s People Plan, driving the delivery of strategic priorities and enhancing organizational performance.
**Governance and Assurance**: Lead on workforce transaction and reporting, ensuring the Trust meets all statutory and other obligations. Develop robust systems for tracking and compliance, safeguarding personal information, and managing risks effectively.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
Uphold Trust policies and provide top-notch advice in line with employment law.
Lead and manage Strategic Workforce and OD Governance Service, covering Resourcing, Payroll, and Employment Services.
Ensure the Trust meets national compliance standards and maintains clear risk management arrangements.
Drive effective workforce resourcing to ensure the Trust has the skills and numbers needed for high-quality service delivery.
Lead initiatives like International Recruitment, E-rostering, and Living Wage implementations.

Offer expert consultancy advice to support effective staff management and organizational performance.
Foster a culture of continuous development and improvement within your team.
Establish and monitor systems to ensure reliable Employee Relations and workforce transactional activities.

Respond to audit reports and lead on action planning to implement required changes.
