Following significant investment, several opportunities have arisen to work in the role of Quality Matron, as part of the Nursing and Quality teams, within our three networks (North, South and Specialist). With eight posts available to cover the Inpatient and residential Services within our eight care hubs (Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Tameside, Stockport, CAMHS, LD and Rehab and high support).
Reporting directly to the Network Director of Nursing, AHPs and Quality, you will work as an integral part of the network, ensuring high quality personalised care is provided to patients and their families, building on the "outstanding" work achieved so far.
The Quality Matron role is the cornerstone of improving the quality of patient care, delivered through visible, inclusive leadership and engagement with patients their families, frontline staff, and senior management teams.
Applications are invited from experienced self-motivated qualified nurses with leadership qualities and a passion for continuous improvement.
To provide professional nurse leadership and leadership to other clinical staff to ensure the delivery of safe, timely, high quality, effective and person centred care within area of responsibility
To provide through personal behaviours core values of the Trust ensuring and maintaining professional standards.
Accountable for monitoring standards of nursing practice by working regularly in clinical areas alongside staff providing care, responding effectively.

Main duties of the job
The Quality Matron will support the Head of Nursing and the Network directors of Nursing, AHPs & Quality to deliver clinical and professional leadership within the inpatient/residential services. Supporting the services to ensure delivery of safe, timely, effective, high-quality evidence-based care, consistent with internal and external standards.
