Position Overview

The Adults Client Finance team operates as a centralized service within the Resources Directorate, providing essential support to the Adult Services Directorate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive financial assessments for adults receiving care services.
  • Managing a substantial caseload of debt cases, determining suitable actions, and ensuring follow-through to resolution.
  • Acting as an appointee through the Department of Work and Pensions and as a deputy through the Court of Protection for clients unable to manage their financial affairs.
  • Continuously reviewing, developing, and implementing financial systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Compiling and integrating Directorate and Business performance data into financial reporting.
