Experienced Children's Social Worker for Duty and Assessment Role

About the Role:
Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for working with vulnerable children and their families? We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team in Tameside Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging with children and their parents, providing stability and ambition for children and their families, and ensuring assessments are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with children and their parents
• Provide stability and ambition for children and their families
• Complete assessments in a timely manner
• Coordinate Child In Need Planning, Strategy Meetings, and Initial Child Protection Conferences
Requirements:
• Social Work England registered
• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS
• Experience working with children and their families
