About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Crisis Recovery Worker to join our team at Mental Health Matters. As a Crisis Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality, recovery-focused service to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support to individuals with mental health needs, promoting independence and social inclusion.
  • Facilitate activities within the service and community, including group-based initiatives and signposting.
  • Work closely with mental health primary and secondary care, emergency services, and partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and carers to meet their holistic needs.

Requirements

  • Experience working with mental health service users, with a strong understanding of complex needs, including mental health, learning, physical, and substance misuse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage people.
  • Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3 qualification, with a willingness to develop further.
  • Ability to work within a community-based service, with a focus on recovery and social inclusion.
