About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Crisis Recovery Worker to join our team at Mental Health Matters. As a Crisis Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, recovery-focused support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to individuals in crisis, promoting independence and social inclusion.
  • Facilitate group-based activities and workshops to engage individuals in their recovery journey.
  • Work closely with mental health professionals, emergency services, and partner agencies to ensure seamless support.
  • Identify barriers and understand client needs, using motivational skills to inspire and engage individuals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and carers to ensure holistic support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with mental health service users, with a strong understanding of complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a community-based setting.
  • Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3 qualification, with a willingness to develop further.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
