About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Crisis Recovery Worker to join our team at Mental Health Matters. As a Crisis Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, recovery-focused support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to clients with a range of mental health and autistic traits, as well as other support needs.
  • Facilitate activities within the service and community to promote independence and social inclusion.
  • Work closely with other Crisis Recovery Workers, Peer Support Workers, and Clinicians to achieve person-centered care.
  • Identify barriers and understand client needs to support them in achieving their goals.
  • Signpost clients to other provision and services to meet their holistic needs.
Requirements
  • Experience of working within a community-based mental health setting.
  • Ability to inspire and engage people, and identify barriers and understand client needs.
  • Excellent motivational skills, including one-to-one engagement and facilitating group-based activities.
  • Knowledge of working with people with complex needs, including mental health, learning, physical, and substance misuse.
  • Health and Social Care level 2 or level 3 qualification, with a willingness to develop further.
