About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Rapid Response team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality mental health assessments and delivering short-term interventions to young people in crisis.

You will work closely with CAMHS services, local authorities, educational partners, and other key services to provide comprehensive support to patients and their families. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us to deliver exceptional care and support to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective care plans
  • Respond to crisis calls from young people and their families, providing timely and effective support
  • Lead shifts and supervise other clinicians, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained
  • Ensure accurate clinical record-keeping and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and national strategies
