Advanced Mental Health Practitioner and Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Mental Health Practitioner and Supervisor to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people in our community.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our service users. As an Advanced Mental Health Practitioner and Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing assessments, formulations, and short-term interventions to young people with mild to moderate mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulations of young people's mental health needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address mental health issues
- Provide supervision and support to junior staff members
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
- Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Appropriate qualification as a Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist or Systemic Family Psychotherapist
- Post-qualifying experience working with children and young people in mental health settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Knowledge of current issues in service delivery within community CAMHS
