Role Summary

Location: Slough

Compensation: £28,034.64 pro rata based on a 44-hour work week.

Available Positions: Full Time

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6am - 6pm, with core office hours from 8:30am to 5pm.

The Administrator/Crisis Worker role is essential in delivering the necessary support and care to victims of sexual assault. As the primary advocate for patients visiting the centre, you will empower service users, ensuring they feel in control while assisting them through the forensic process and managing patient care pathways and daily service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties Include:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for service users.
  • Facilitate administrative processes for service users and their families visiting the centre, including patient preparation and assistance in collecting forensic evidence.
  • Support the SARC Manager in the daily operations of the centre.
  • Maintain high standards of DNA anti-contamination between forensic cases.
  • Assist patients and coordinate with other agencies regarding service user pathways.
  • Provide support during the patient’s time at the SARC, acting as an advocate.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders such as Police, NHSE, ISVA, and Social Services.
  • Contribute as a vital member of the SARC team and the broader company network.
Required Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Experience in a supportive or customer-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of confidentiality protocols.
  • Experience in performing administrative tasks.

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle may be required for travel across various SARC locations.
  • Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting will be necessary.
