People Strategy Partner

Reporting to the Head of People Strategy and collaborating within a global team, you will be tasked with supporting the UK operations by closely engaging with business leaders on all facets of the employee lifecycle. This includes areas such as employee engagement, organizational structuring, mergers and acquisitions, performance evaluation, diversity, equity, inclusion, policy implementation, and employee relations, ensuring accountability throughout the organization. This role presents an exciting opportunity to manage all HR-related matters, from influencing leadership to handling routine HR functions. By partnering with various business units, you will proactively address workforce challenges and offer professional HR counsel, support, and guidance to both management and staff. As a vital member of the global HR team, your contributions will be essential in executing the overarching HR strategy. Additionally, you will have the chance to engage in various projects aimed at embedding the company culture and core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and implement people programs and strategies that enhance the organizational culture, including performance management, absence management, talent development, employee engagement, and internal communications.
  • Act as a liaison with specialized HR teams (Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Operations) to ensure effective delivery of the global HR strategy and business needs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders on organizational design and workforce planning.
  • Provide HR advice, guidance, and coaching to line managers regarding disciplinary actions, grievances, conduct, performance, capability, and absence management, seeking specialized input as necessary.
  • Utilize data and metrics to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Oversee all employee relations issues within your business area, ensuring that managers are equipped to resolve matters while adhering to local labor laws and group HR policies.
  • Promote and implement best practices in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Assist in the formulation of people policies and procedures to support line managers with practical interpretations as needed.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for managers across your business areas, providing guidance, coaching, and counsel on all HR-related issues.
  • Support and advise managers on talent management processes, including promotions, workforce planning, compensation, and the annual pay and rewards cycle, ensuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner with a strong focus on talent management, employee well-being, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated strong judgment and experience in employee relations within the EMEA region, along with excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to navigate effectively within a global matrix management structure.
  • Continuously monitor and uphold company policies and procedures while staying informed on relevant employment law issues.
  • Proficient understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to HR in a regulated environment, combining strong technical skills with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to critical deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior management.
  • A data-driven and solution-oriented approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with a wide array of stakeholders, both internal and external, and work collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
