Morson Talent is collaborating with a prominent global organization to identify a seasoned Senior People Strategy Partner.

This organization boasts a workforce exceeding 8,000 individuals, and this position will report directly to the HR Director while maintaining a dotted line to the Business Unit Director.


Compensation:
£65,000 - £80,000 PA, based on experience plus bonus.

The Senior People Strategy Partner will actively engage and collaborate with the Senior Management team to deliver practical and commercially viable solutions that bring the People agenda to fruition and support the execution of business strategy. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of effective people management, ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of talented individuals who are fully engaged and aligned with the organization's values.

This position will involve collaboration across various domains, including general HR practices, talent management, employee development, employee relations, succession planning, and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a Business Partnering service to the senior management team of the business unit, acting as a trusted advisor, coach, and mentor on people-related matters.
  • Exhibit a commercial mindset and a strong understanding of financial implications to identify key financial challenges.
  • Utilize robust business acumen to offer insights that support the business agenda and strategy, constructively challenging the business when necessary and proactively developing solutions to achieve better outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with centers of excellence, specialist teams, and internal or external providers to ensure the successful delivery of divisional or functional people priorities.
  • Partner with the Senior Management Team to assist the business in achieving profit margins and growth targets within established timelines and milestones, demonstrating a keen awareness of the financial landscape and challenges.
  • Analyze and interpret monthly HR Management Information, assessing trend data and performance against KPIs to drive strategic direction, identify risks, and implement solutions for short, medium, and long-term concerns.
  • Be accountable for delivering positive momentum in key people metrics (e.g., retention, employee engagement, diversity, equity, inclusion, and talent development) in alignment with the business's people plan.
  • Work collaboratively with Centers of Excellence, including Talent & Organizational Development, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and HR systems to implement global, regional, or market initiatives and frameworks.
  • Ensure optimal workforce planning to place the right individuals in the right roles, addressing talent, diversity, skills, and capability gaps across operational functions.
  • Lead and manage HR resources, providing support, direction, and development as necessary, while determining the team's resourcing needs for effective day-to-day support and project delivery.
  • Advise managers on complex employee relations cases, including the management of Employment Tribunals, representing the organization as appropriate.
  • Act as the HR lead on significant projects, including HR and Business Transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee employee engagement, sustainability, and performance management activities using globally recognized frameworks, tools, and processes.
