The Role

We are seeking a Principal People Partner to serve as a strategic advisor and coach to our senior leaders within the Technology, Data, and Product sectors.

Your primary objective?

Deliver expert guidance, challenge assumptions, and provide support to empower our senior leaders in navigating growth and transformation.

As a member of the Senior Leadership team for Data, Product, and Tech, you will grasp essential business priorities, enhance organizational and leadership capabilities, and collaborate with senior leaders and specialized teams to identify and implement People initiatives that align with our scaling efforts while nurturing our distinctive culture.

Your approach will always be people-centric and inclusive, recognizing that our employees are our most valuable asset. As a People Partner, you will play a crucial role in fostering a sense of belonging and engagement within the organization. At Dojo, we continuously evolve by actively listening to our employees and making enhancements based on their feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leaders on organizational design, effectiveness, and key people initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and challenge senior leaders to broaden their people leadership perspectives and skills.
  • Utilize people analytics (e.g., engagement surveys, DEI metrics, performance data) to proactively identify opportunities and challenges, working with senior leaders and People Centers of Excellence to develop and implement solutions.
  • Assist leaders with essential People processes, including engagement survey feedback, promotion cycles, and talent reviews.
  • Manage employee relations cases involving senior personnel.
  • Lead within the People team, supporting colleagues and guiding our People Advisors.
  • Contribute to additional People team projects and initiatives as required.

What You Will Bring:

  • Extensive experience in a strategic HR capacity, collaborating directly with senior leaders in technology, data, or product sectors.
  • A proactive relationship builder, coach, and advisor, unafraid to challenge conventional approaches.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills to design and execute people initiatives that align with business objectives while continuously reassessing priorities.
  • Experience in a mid-to-large organization with over 1500 employees, understanding what excellence looks like.
  • Strong grasp of organizational design within a technology context.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where not all challenges are clearly defined.
  • A hands-on approach, ready to engage in practical tasks.
  • A high level of curiosity and a self-starter attitude, demonstrating a proactive and positive mindset.
  • Solid HR expertise, ideally supported by a relevant HR degree or Chartered CIPD qualification.
  • Experience in a rapidly growing scale-up environment is advantageous but not essential.
