About the Role:
This position is responsible for overseeing a team of diverse HR professionals in the creation and execution of organization-wide effectiveness and employee experience initiatives. This encompasses the successful management of critical phases of the employee lifecycle to consistently improve the employee experience.
In this role, you will:
Lead a team of experts who enhance processes, procedures, and systems related to onboarding, performance evaluation, competency frameworks, talent assessments, succession planning, internal transfers, and separations. Collaborate with the Team Leader for Systems, Process, and Governance to ensure process alignment and optimization of HR systems, promoting efficiency and effectiveness while supporting a positive employee experience. Assist the Organizational Capability Manager in rolling out enterprise-wide behavior change and organizational effectiveness initiatives, including the development of comprehensive change management strategies and capacity-building programs. Participate in the creation of new processes focused on employee feedback and the continuous improvement of our employee experience. Contribute to the enhancement of our Career and Development Framework by identifying and developing career pathways, continuously evolving this framework to advance workforce capabilities for the future. Collaborate with the Strategic Workforce Planning team to analyze competency skill gaps and aid in the development of related interventions aligned with Western Power's workforce strategy.About You:
The ideal candidate will possess experience and proficiency in the following areas:
Proven experience in managing a multi-disciplinary HR or organizational effectiveness team, ensuring optimal resource utilization with demonstrated people and financial management skills. Background in developing and executing organizational effectiveness initiatives and change management strategies that enhance organizational capability. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and negotiate favorable outcomes. Experience in implementing change management strategies for organization-wide HR initiatives. Accreditation in assessment tools such as Hogan, Print, or DiSC is highly valued. Qualifications in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related field are highly regarded.What's on Offer?
