We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive HR Advisor to join our team at eTeach UK Limited. As an HR Advisor, you will provide operational HR support across our organization, ensuring the delivery of expert advice on HR administration, data management, and employee relations matters.
Key Responsibilities- Expert HR Guidance: Provide managers with professional advice on disciplinary actions, performance management, grievances, long-term sickness, absenteeism, employee welfare, and other operational HR matters.
- Disciplinary and Grievance Support: Collaborate with HR Managers to ensure compliance with employment law and organizational policies in investigations and summary reports.
- Sickness Absence Management: Guide managers on managing sickness absences effectively, including Occupational Health referrals and resolving cases through return to work, redeployment, or other appropriate measures.
- Change Management: Advise on organizational changes, including restructuring, job descriptions, redundancy, and HR risk considerations.
- Recruitment and Selection: Participate in recruitment processes, advising on best practices for shortlisting, interviews, and assessment centers to align with organizational values and professional HR standards.
- Employee Conditions: Support the creation and revision of job descriptions and employee conditions of service, ensuring alignment with organizational processes.
- Documentation and HR Systems: Coordinate the preparation of appointment documentation and manage employee records on the HR/payroll system.
- Risk and Policy Compliance: Work with HR Managers on complex issues, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and health and safety legislation.
- Reporting: Provide HR-related statistics, including data on employee numbers, sickness, overtime, and equal opportunities, to inform decision-making.
- Training, Support, and Work Allocation: Work closely with HR Managers to progress cases, manage projects, and address queries requiring specialized HR knowledge.
This is a growth role, and the successful candidate is expected to either hold or be willing to pursue a Level 7 qualification with the CIPD. We are committed to supporting your professional development.
