The Role:

We are in search of a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our expanding team and lead our internal recruitment and development initiatives. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will oversee the management of internal recruitment processes and the enhancement of our training and development programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulating and executing recruitment strategies.
  • Supervising the Development Coordinator.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to conduct job analyses, create job descriptions, and define candidate qualifications.
  • Crafting compelling job advertisements or delegating this task as necessary to attract and secure top talent.
  • Leading the sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection processes in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Ensuring a positive recruitment experience for all stakeholders by maintaining regular communication with candidates and managers.
  • Building a talent pool for future opportunities within the organization.
  • Managing relationships with external recruitment agencies and HR partners as required.
  • Guiding the Development Coordinator in scheduling health and safety training and personal development sessions to ensure they are effectively delivered and current for all employees.
  • Maintaining relationships with external training providers.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations by keeping accurate and up-to-date recruitment and training records.
  • Facilitating a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
  • Conducting HR induction meetings and developing onboarding plans in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Assisting in the establishment of a new training academy and apprenticeship program.
  • Ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations by updating policies and practices as necessary.

The Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will possess proven experience in leading an internal recruitment team. You will have specialized knowledge in managing all facets of the recruitment process and implementing new recruitment strategies for hiring managers. Experience in overseeing employee training and development, particularly in apprenticeship programs, is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and be an enthusiastic, creative team player. You will be a confident communicator who enjoys cultivating positive, long-term professional relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders.

Proficiency in IT, particularly with the MS Office Suite, is essential. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Teamtailor or similar) to manage the recruitment process efficiently and accurately is required. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment are crucial.
