Position Overview

Role Objective:

A key member of Sika's specialized Account Team dedicated to supporting our significant national client within a designated region to achieve mutual strategic objectives. With an emphasis on value-added solutions, you will collaborate closely with local customer teams to enhance sales and profitability for both parties through specification and contractor engagement. Recognizing opportunities for innovative products and systems is crucial to maintaining our competitive edge in the industry, as is delivering support and training across all business facets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the complete range of admixture solutions to clients, ensuring revenue and gross margin targets are achieved.
  • Build and sustain a robust pipeline of value-added concrete opportunities in partnership with the account, driving sales growth and revenue for both Sika and the client.
  • Contribute to new product development and assist the Product/R&D team in creating and testing innovative solutions.
  • Execute an effective local strategy for the territory aligned with the overarching National Strategy.
  • Support account teams by identifying and organizing concrete trials to secure winning proposals for admixture solutions on major projects.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and provide appropriate training to sales, technical, and operational customer teams.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the account.
  • Engage in various sales-related activities such as CPDs, trade shows, and events associated with industry bodies to advance sales, including potential membership in a trade organization.

You will collaborate within the account team and alongside the broader Concrete team across the designated area. Required Skills:

  • Understanding of the specification process and the roles of various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the construction market, including the tender process, contractor relationships, and procurement procedures.
