Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Customer Support Operations team, focusing on resolving application support challenges related to our Housing solutions. As a vital member of our group, you will offer technical support, application assistance, and expert guidance to our NEC Housing clientele. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and fostering customer satisfaction through clear communication and effective problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support and application assistance to clients, showcasing comprehensive knowledge of application environments.
  • Recognize contractual obligations and address incidents/problems within the agreed SLAs.
  • Convert client needs into actionable solutions and workarounds.
  • Create and maintain technical support procedures and documentation.
  • Proactively provide support services while identifying opportunities for revenue growth.

Our team operates on a rota covering Canadian hours, with one week in eight requiring a shift from 2 PM to 10 PM. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Housing Management Software is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting Web Applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL scripting and Housing database management.
  • Experience in providing user support.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with NEC Housing software and related applications is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with operating system administration, including Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
  • Experience with application delivery platforms such as Citrix.
  • Understanding of software development principles within an ISO 9001 framework.
  • Experience in generating reports using Business Objects or similar reporting tools.
