Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Support Specialist to join our Customer Support Operations team at NEC Software Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical assistance and application support to our Housing solution customers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide in-depth technical assistance and application support to customers, demonstrating a thorough understanding of application environments.
  • Incident Resolution: Understand contractual commitments and resolve incidents/problems within contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Customer Communication: Translate customer requirements into workarounds and solutions, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Process Development: Develop and implement technical support procedures/documentation to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactive Support: Proactively deliver support services and identify revenue generation opportunities.

Working Hours: Our team operates on a rotating schedule, covering Canadian hours. One week in eight, you will work from 2 pm to 10 pm. The remaining weeks will be Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Requirements:

  • Essential Skills: Knowledge of Housing Management Software is essential, as well as proven experience supporting Web Applications, proficiency in SQL scripting, and experience with Housing database administration.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience with NEC Housing software and related applications, familiarity with administering operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Windows/Linux/Solaris), experience with application delivery tools like Citrix, and understanding of software development principles in an ISO 9001 environment.
