Refugee Integration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Refugee Integration Officer to join our Homelessness Prevention Service at Hestia Housing Support. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting refugees who are at risk of homelessness or are already homeless.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate a frontline service for refugees in conjunction with 7 West London boroughs, applying specialist knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation to relieve homelessness and sustain tenancy.
- Negotiate with local lettings agents, private landlords, and other agencies to find optimal solutions to clients' housing needs, working towards individual financial outcome targets and service standards.
- Manage a caseload effectively, driving engagement with clients in line with service standards and Hestia values, and reviewing work and priorities to ensure client progression and meeting service targets and deadlines.
- Travel may be required for property viewings and building relationships with local organisations to ensure successful integration of individuals into their new communities and tenancy sustainability.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments and ongoing reviews of client needs, creating co-produced Integration Plans and implementing actions to improve housing options and community integration.
