We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Support Specialist to join our Customer Support Operations team at NEC Software Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical assistance and application support to our Housing customers, ensuring their needs are met and their issues are resolved efficiently.
Main Responsibilities- Technical Assistance and Support: Provide in-depth technical assistance and application support to customers, demonstrating a thorough understanding of application environments.
- Incident Resolution: Understand contractual commitments and resolve incidents/problems within contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Customer Communication: Translate customer requirements into workarounds and solutions, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
- Process Development: Develop and implement technical support procedures/documentation, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Proactive Support: Proactively deliver support services and identify revenue generation opportunities, contributing to the growth and success of our business.
Our team operates on a rotating schedule, covering Canadian hours. One week in eight, you will work from 2 pm to 10 pm. For the remaining weeks, you will work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Requirements- Essential Skills: Knowledge of Housing Management Software, proven experience supporting Web Applications, proficiency in SQL scripting and Housing database administration, and experience delivering support to users.
- Desirable Skills: Experience with NEC Housing software and related applications, familiarity with administering operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Windows/Linux/Solaris), experience with application delivery tools like Citrix, understanding of software development principles in an ISO 9001 environment, and experience creating reports using Business Objects or similar tools.
