About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housing Support Specialist to join our team at Social Housing Recruitment. As a Prison Reintegration Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting ex-offenders in their transition back into society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tenancy audits and void management to ensure properties are maintained to a high standard.
  • Work with estates and maintenance teams to address any issues and ensure properties are well-maintained.
  • Support service users in accessing external agencies, such as GP services, job centers, and libraries.
  • Develop relationships with local communities and businesses to generate support for residents and provide opportunities for them to engage with support groups or community events.
Requirements
  • Experience working with ex-offenders in a support worker or housing officer capacity.
  • Experience within the probation service or prison service will also be considered.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Ability to manage your own diary, work autonomously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
