SAP S4 Transformation Change Leader

Subsea7 is seeking a SAP S4 Transformation Change Leader to become a vital part of our team. This role will focus on overseeing change management initiatives as we transition to SAP S4 HANA, enhancing our business processes across various domains including Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Asset Management.

As part of our ambitious transformation program, we are integrating additional Asset Management projects that will run concurrently with our main initiative. These projects include:

  • Equipment and Tools Management (ETM): This involves the implementation of a third-party SaaS solution designed to operate seamlessly with SAP S4, enabling global tracking and management of our equipment across multiple operational areas.
  • Material Codification: We are also deploying an AI-enabled SaaS tool to assist in creating a comprehensive material codification catalogue, ensuring future entries are efficiently categorized within S4.

The Change Leader will collaborate closely with the existing Change Management Lead, project teams, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of these new systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Transformation Change Lead and the Change Management team from our System Integrator to develop essential change management deliverables for the ETM and Codification projects.
  • Ensure alignment with established change management strategies, policies, and procedures tailored for S4 related transformations.
  • Engage with project teams and business leaders to comprehend business processes and customize change management initiatives accordingly.
  • Facilitate change readiness activities to empower end-users and stakeholders with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate resistance.
  • Assist in crafting and executing effective communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed about project developments.
  • Support training initiatives for end-users, collaborating with third parties for material development as needed.
  • Monitor resistance to change and foster a positive environment for transition.
  • Provide guidance to users and management throughout the change process.

Desired Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Business Change Manager role or similar, particularly in SAP-related initiatives.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience working with System Integrator partners.
  • Understanding of SAP applications and their influence on business processes.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities within cross-functional teams.
