The Supply Chain Management department plays a crucial role in delivering a wide array of integrated SURF and IRM solutions for various projects. Our expertise spans from short-term engagements to major EPCI projects, encompassing early engagement, DSV, pipelay, bundles, and emerging energy initiatives such as field electrification, floating wind, CCS, and hydrogen.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Buyer, you will be integral to the Supply Chain Management team, focusing on sourcing, supplier relations, procurement, and expediting processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Obtaining competitive bids from suppliers for materials, rentals, and services that meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Negotiating and finalizing contracts with suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms.
- Leveraging lessons learned to enhance SCM activities, mitigate risks, and promote Company core values.
- Ensuring adherence to all Supply Chain policies, processes, systems, and procedures.
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, including conducting site visits.
Desired Qualifications:

- Relevant experience in a procurement or buyer role is preferred, but candidates with related commercial experience are also welcome.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and familiarity with SAP and SAP Ariba is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of business analysis and planning.
- Proven ability to effectively manage and prioritize your workload.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Confidence in networking and a strong ability to negotiate and influence.
- Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
