Senior Procurement Specialist

At Semco Maritime, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buyer to join our team. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating procurement activities to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project goals and objectives.
- Manage and coordinate procurement activities, including supplier qualification, tender evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and report on procurement progress, status, and costs to ensure alignment with project plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations.
