Job Overview

At Semco Maritime, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating procurement activities to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate procurement package team activities and deliverables in accordance with project goals, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Establish and maintain procurement strategies, plans, and budgets.
  • Pre-qualify suppliers, prepare inquiries, evaluate tenders, negotiate contracts, and issue purchase orders.
  • Coordinate equipment and documentation deliveries, change and warranty handling, and invoice control.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineering and integration teams.
  • Provide project reporting to the Procurement Manager on progress, status, schedule, cost, risk, and opportunity.

Requirements:

  • Systematic and analytical skills.
