Position Overview:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for two Buyers to join our dynamic Supply Chain Management team at Subsea7. These roles will contribute significantly to our UK & Global IRM SCM operations, providing a chance to work within a diverse and skilled group.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Buyer, you will play a vital role in sourcing, supplier management, procurement, and expediting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and soliciting competitive bids from suppliers for materials, rentals, and services that adhere to quality, budget, and scheduling requirements.
• Negotiating and finalizing agreements with suppliers to secure the most advantageous contract terms.
• Applying lessons learned to ensure Supply Chain Management activities align with best practices, aiming to mitigate risks while promoting the core values of the company.
• Ensuring adherence to all Supply Chain policies, processes, systems, and procedures.
• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, including conducting site visits.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

• Relevant experience in a procurement or buyer role is preferred, but candidates with related commercial experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and familiarity with SAP and SAP Ariba is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of business analysis and planning.
• Ability to effectively evaluate, organize, and prioritize workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to communicate effectively in English with various stakeholders.
• Confidence in networking and a proven ability to negotiate and influence.
• Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
