Vessel Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Vessel Accountant to join our team at Subsea7. As a Vessel Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our Vessel Superintendents and preparing detailed financial reports for our vessels.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily financial support to Vessel Superintendents, including preparation of financial reports and analysis of financial data.
- Prepare monthly management accounts for assigned vessels, including variance analysis and identification of areas for improvement.
- Prepare annual budgets and input to 5-year plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Perform capex reporting for vessel-related capital expenditures and dockings.
- Conduct cash flow analysis for assigned vessels, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
- Degree-level education or relevant experience in a similar role.
- Good working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft products.
- Exposure to Business Finance Capital (BFC) is beneficial, but not essential.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in report writing.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player with initiative and ownership.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good planning and organizing skills, with ability to meet multiple deadlines.
