Crewing Team Leader

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
As Crewing Team Lead you will work with the crewing team and interface with senior members of the operations team, managing all aspects of the Offshore ROV crewing levels and associated offshore personnel recruitment as required. You will lead the crewing team to ensure the company’s ROV fleet is manned with a constant supply of qualified skilled and competence offshore personnel to meet our global business demands. Key duties and responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
Actively support day to day crewing operations within the crewing team.
Responsible for the coaching, development, and training of the Crewing Team.
Completion of weekly 1-1’s with all crewing Team members to monitor progress and objectives set and monitor team members wellbeing.
Conduct Annual appraisals with all team members. Identifying high potentials for succession planning.
Oversea and assist when required project personnel allocation, identifying initial crew selection to benefit both client and ROVOP across all regions.
Oversea and assist when required the integration of Onboard Tracker, outputting forecasts and reporting as needed for efficient crew planning.
Ensure crew selection in line with Project and client requirements with a suitable blend of crew competency levels and costs, ensuring continuity of personnel across the duration of individual projects, vessels and ROV systems where possible.
Oversea and assist when required with identifying any gaps in personnel availability assisting recruitment with future personnel requirements.
Monitor forecast demands for Offshore ROV personnel.
Optimise a network of directly and indirectly engaged personnel (Core Crew and Ad Hoc), ensuring the quality supply of ROV crews are available to meet business requirements globally.
Manage the supply of global offshore personnel, supporting the identification and development of new strategies to support growth.
Engage with Project Managers and Operations Team to establish and maintain appropriate manning levels, considering mix of experience and costs.
Oversee and improve the tracking and processing of accurate offshore man days, project spreadsheets, expenses, and timesheets.
Work closely with the HR and Finance Team to ensure personnel forecasting and recoveries are captured, support offshore monthly payroll process and manage any associated queries.
Define, improve and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency globally.
Effectively manage and motivate the crewing team to deliver operational excellence on a global basis.
Support improvements with all systems.
Support offshore personnel new start on boarding and offboarding processes.
Manage travel provider accounts.
Participate in the emergency response and on-call rotas.
Travel to global locations as and when required.
Support the global recruitment activities for offshore personnel.
Support the Global Offshore Resources Manager with collation of management data/information as required.
**HSEQ RESPONSIBILITIES**
All employees have a duty under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and abide by the Environmental Protection processes in place at ROVOP to:

Correctly use work items provided by your employer, including PPE in accordance with training and instructions
Not to interfere with, or misuse anything provided for your health and safety, or welfare
Report all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality concerns to the HSEQ Manager
Work to the processes and procedures as set out in the IMS and inform the HSEQ Manager of any omissions or changes required
Ensure that safety policies and procedures are implemented, understood and adhered to at the offshore work location, so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment
Promote a proactive commitment to ROVOP’s HSEQ initiatives.
**PERSONAL SPECIFICATION**
Proven track record of Personnel Crewing experience.
Strong People managements and leadership capabilities.
Experience of working in a fast-paced high growth environment working to tight deadlines.
Working knowledge on OBT (Onboard Tracker)

Higher level of Education
