Role Summary

We are on the lookout for a Regional Sales Executive to join our dynamic external sales team. This position is designed for a home-based professional covering the South East territory.

Applicants MUST possess prior experience in selling construction or roofing materials directly to merchants and should be located within the designated area, reporting to their Regional Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management and sales growth of their builder or roofing merchant accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a regional business strategy targeting merchants in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager, aligning with Timloc's commercial objectives.
  • Establish and nurture strong business relationships that enhance sales opportunities with both national and independent merchant clients.
  • Maintain high operational standards consistently (including call plans, CRM updates, quotations, and pricing) and ensure timely presentation of information.
  • Regularly analyze sales data to support commercial initiatives and identify customer and product opportunities within the merchant sector.
  • Build and foster effective relationships with groundworkers, brickwork contractors, roofing specialists, and dry lining contractors.
  • Engage with developers at both local and regional levels to identify and cultivate beneficial partnerships.
  • Conduct site visits to understand current specifications and explore opportunities for the Timloc product range.
  • Ensure that merchant clients are well-informed about existing and new products within the Timloc portfolio.
  • Provide product training to merchant teams, either in-person or via virtual platforms.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong presentation skills, both formal and informal.
  • Existing relationships with builders and roofing merchants in the area are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient negotiation and account management skills.
  • Effective time management capabilities.
  • Sound business acumen.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of resilience.
  • Good understanding of the builder/roofing merchant industry and relevant product knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Maps.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive salary of up to £50,000.
