We are in the process of hiring a Customer Service Assistant to join our essential team at RVC, Royal College Street, Camden, NW1 0TU.

Responsibilities

  • Execute basic service, food production, and administrative duties
  • Serve food and drinks to customers following standard portioning, presentation, and combinations as per brand guidelines. Address product-related inquiries
  • Basic cold food preparation and customized services
  • Handle payments and maintain financial records as needed
  • Replenish inventory and ensure proper merchandise displays
  • Ensure cleanliness in back-of-house areas, crockery, and cutlery using appropriate equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness in counter areas, light equipment/vending machines, preparation and public spaces
  • Report any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock requirements, breakages, faults, or hazards to the line manager
  • Complete assigned daily paperwork or computer tasks
  • Comply with safety protocols according to health and safety regulations, and undergo necessary training

Requirements

  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Prior experience in customer service
  • Basic food preparation background
  • Hospitality industry experience
  • DBS checks are mandatory
  • An enthusiastic team member and effective communicator willing to acquire new skills and broaden experiences
  • Adaptable to varying workloads and shifts when necessary
