We are seeking a Vice President of Cloud Sales & Engineering, Europe (London Based) to support our Sales and Business Development team in driving revenue growth and customer success.

The VP of Sales Engineering will be instrumental and hands-on in supporting our sales efforts by providing strategic technical guidance, solution consulting, and pre-sales support throughout the sales cycle.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer and Leadership Team, this role demands a deep expertise in cloud technologies, specifically in data warehousing and ETL systems, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.


Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud data warehouse migration strategies, architecture, and best practices, guiding the team in crafting tailored solutions for clients.

Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Engineering, and Delivery teams to develop compelling technical strategies and solutions that align with customer needs and drive business growth.

Customer Engagement: Engage directly with key customers and prospects to understand their technical requirements, address challenges, and articulate the value proposition of our solutions.

Sales Enablement: Develop and deliver technical scoping documents that directly support pre-sales efforts, including technical environment assessments, proposals, and statements of work.

Market Insight and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge in the market

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience: Proven track record (10+ years) in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or a related technical field, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, and experience hitting quota of US$10m+ per year

Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, etc.). Hands-on experience with database technologies, ETL processes (such as Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, Talend), and business intelligence tools.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and enhance customer satisfaction

Location:
This role is based in the Greater London Area, United Kingdom, with occasional travel required for customer meetings and industry events
