Job Title: VP of Sales

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced VP of Sales to join our team at Argus Media. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your industry expertise and network to drive growth.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity, using this information to inform our sales strategy and drive business results.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Client Engagement: Represent Argus Media at industry events and conferences, engaging with clients and stakeholders to build relationships and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of sales experience, preferably in the energy or commodity markets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the oil products market, including marine fuels, base oils, and bitumen.
  • Skills: Proactive, agile, and able to work at pace, with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or economics.
