About the Role:

The VP of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team to drive growth and revenue for Genasys. This is a hands-on role that requires a dynamic and commercially-minded sales leader with experience in the insurance sector and ideally in the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Coaching, mentoring, training, and upskilling the sales team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Business Strategy: Providing clear direction and communication on the business and sales strategy and goals to the sales team.
  • Sales Performance: Managing sales deliverables and achieving targets, including determining and setting sales goals and quotas.
  • Financial Management: Creating and managing the Sales Department budget and producing sales forecasts and reports.
  • Market Research: Researching markets and competitors to determine new sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A dynamic, strategic, and commercially-minded sales leader with experience in the insurance sector and ideally in the technology sector.
  • Skills: Experience in the development and implementation of sales strategies, the setting and management of sales goals, the management of growth, and managing small to medium-sized sales teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Highly analytical and able to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
