About the Role:
The VP of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team to drive growth and revenue for Genasys. This is a hands-on role that requires a dynamic and commercially-minded sales leader with experience in the insurance sector and ideally in the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Coaching, mentoring, training, and upskilling the sales team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Business Strategy: Providing clear direction and communication on the business and sales strategy and goals to the sales team.
- Sales Operations: Managing sales deliverables and achieving targets, including determining and setting sales goals and quotas, creating and managing the Sales Department budget, and producing sales forecasts and reports.
- Market Research: Researching markets and competitors to determine new sales opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Networking: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the industry to drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the insurance sector and ideally in the technology sector.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Personality: Dynamic, strategic, and commercially-minded, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
