Job Overview

The Lead Children’s Support Specialist will be responsible for supervising a team of residential workers, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained at all times. Key responsibilities include staff supervision, shift management, policy implementation, risk assessment, rostering, and placement plan adherence. The successful candidate will also provide guidance and support to residential workers, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential childcare, working with children and young people;
  • An NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent qualification;
  • A valid manual driving license;

As a Lead Children’s Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our residents, helping them develop life skills and build self-esteem. You will create positive relationships, meet their needs, and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
