Senior Practitioner Lead

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a forward-thinking recruitment agency, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner Lead to join their Children's Social Work Team on a full-time basis in Medway.
About the RoleThe salary for this permanent position is up to £51,375 per annum. As a Senior Practitioner Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and professional support to colleagues and other professionals in situations of high complexity.
You will apply extensive knowledge of practice, theory, and legislation to enhance practice, procedures, and policies, promote innovation, and introduce new ways of working from recognised sites of excellence. This includes modelling effective assessment and management of risk in complex situations, across a range of situations, including positive risk-taking scenarios.
Additionally, you will provide professional leadership on safeguarding issues in collaboration with other senior members of the team and offer professional support, advice, and/or supervision to ensure the performance management and development of team members are maximised.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and professional support to colleagues and other professionals in situations of high complexity.
- Apply extensive knowledge of practice, theory, and legislation to enhance practice, procedures, and policies.
- Model effective assessment and management of risk in complex situations.
- Provide professional leadership on safeguarding issues.

To be successful in this role, you must have a social work qualification or equivalent, commit to continual professional development, and be registered with Social Work England.
