Job Title: Residential Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Residential Support Specialist to join our team at StartMonday. As a Residential Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the children and young people in all aspects of their care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care for children and young people, supporting them to achieve positive outcomes in all aspects of their lives.
  • Work closely with the management team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each child's or young person's progress, including their daily activities, behavior, and any concerns.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing cases and share best practices.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in residential childcare or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of child development and behavior principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people.
