About the Role

We are seeking a skilled administrator to provide support to our construction industry clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent administration and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily input of sales orders and delivery notes into our in-house system.
  • Preparing orders and delivery dockets for the warehouse team.
  • Handling customer enquiries via telephone and email, developing relationships and maximising sales opportunities.
  • Monitoring emails and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Booking parcels and pallets onto our transporters' logistics system.
  • Acknowledging customer orders, confirming despatch, and monitoring delivery.
  • Updating customers on stock availability and maintaining back order records.
  • Liaising with delivery companies regarding queries or issues.
  • Sending Proof of Delivery (PODs) when requested by customers.
  • Invoicing customers and verifying paperwork.
Requirements:
  • Excellent administration and customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence when speaking over the phone.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
  • Familiarity with construction and building products is desirable.
About You

This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary up to £26,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday in our Carlisle office. We are committed to providing a supportive environment that allows our staff to grow and develop their careers.
