Sales and Administration Support Professional

NXT Recruitment LTD is delighted to be working with one of the UK's leading suppliers of materials to the construction industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Sales and Administration Support Professional to join their team.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a robust administration support function and delivering exceptional customer service. This will involve daily input of sales orders and delivery notes on the in-house system, preparing orders and delivery dockets for the warehouse, and confidently answering the telephone and managing enquiries.
Responsibilities
- Managing customer interactions and developing relationships to maximise sales opportunities
- Booking parcels and pallets onto the transporters logistic system
- Monitoring emails and ensuring enquiries are responded to in a timely manner
- Acknowledging customer orders, confirming their despatch and monitoring delivery
- Liaising with pallet and parcel companies about delivery queries/problems
- Sending Proof of Delivery (PODs) when asked by customer
- Invoicing customers and checking paperwork
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have excellent administration and customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively to deadlines. A knowledge of construction and building products is desirable but not essential.
