Marketplace Growth Consultant

About the Role

As a Marketplace Growth Consultant at EngineeringUK, you will play a key role in helping medium and large-sized businesses on Amazon achieve faster growth. You will advise a portfolio of 12-14 businesses, providing strategic advice on topics like portfolio optimization, product presentation, advertising strategy, promotions, fulfillment strategy, and brand building. With a data-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused approach, you will help businesses master the fundamentals of selling on Amazon.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for growth and provide strategic recommendations to maximize sellers' potential.

Implement and track metrics to measure the success and quality of sellers in your portfolio.

Identify, qualify, and engage with prospective sellers for our Strategic Account Services program.

Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track account information and sales progress.

A Day in the Life

As a Marketplace Growth Consultant, you will work closely with colleagues in Europe and have opportunities to develop your career at Amazon. You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencing senior external stakeholders. If you are comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment and have a track record of using data and tools to drive business growth, this role may be for you.

Requirements

BA/BSc degree or equivalent experience, including 1+ years of sales or account management experience in e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS, or software.

Strong analytical skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Proven ability to successfully influence at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to work in a complex, cross-functional team environment, chasing down and following up on dependencies, mitigating risks, and escalating when necessary.

Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM tools.

Creative, takes initiative, and can constructively advocate on behalf of the customer.
