The Imperial Hotel Blackpool, situated on North Promenade, offers a unique blend of Victorian elegance and modern comforts. As a 4-star hotel, it provides an ideal setting for business visitors with fourteen meeting rooms that can cater to up to 600 delegates.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FRONT DESK AMBASSADOR
You will be responsible for handling 'check-in' and 'check-out' processes with a welcoming smile, responding to guest queries both face-to-face and over the phone. Your day will involve processing payments and taking responsibility for cashiering during your shift.
SIGN-POSTING GUEST REQUESTS TO RELEVANT DEPARTMENTS
You will identify and address any guest challenges, ensuring their comfort at all times by sign-posting requests to the relevant department when needed.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
To succeed in this role, you must possess a 'can-do' approach to guest interaction and service, multitasking and prioritizing workload under pressure.
You should have good written and verbal communication skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Previous experience of Opera would be advantageous but not essential.
