Role Overview:

As we expand, Altium is seeking a Mid-Market Sales Executive to propel our growth in the designated region. The key responsibility of this role is to cultivate new client relationships while enhancing existing ones to promote and upsell our products and services.

Daily Responsibilities of Our Mid-Market Sales Executive:

  • Strategic Planning: Employ a methodical and analytical approach to manage a diverse portfolio of use cases and effectively position our platform. Ensure the sales pipeline is up-to-date and provide insightful feedback on strategic elements such as pricing and market positioning.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Create tailored account plans aimed at maximizing revenue from new products. Foster and leverage relationships within our extensive existing client base as well as new accounts to drive organizational strategy.
  • Innovative Marketing and Prospecting: Utilize creative thinking to raise awareness of Altium's vision, executing targeted campaigns within your territory.
  • Customer Insight: Gain a deep understanding of each client's growth strategies, technological landscape, internal challenges, and competitive environment.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on key industry trends and developments by reviewing public information such as executive appointments and press releases related to the company and its competitors.
  • Sales Advancement: Successfully execute the sales strategy to advance and close sales opportunities.
  • Revenue Generation: Achieve new business revenue targets while collaborating closely with our Customer Success Management and support teams to ensure effective product adoption.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in quota-carrying, technology solution-based sales, solution engineering, or enterprise marketing, with a focus on new product penetration.
  • Proven track record in developing sales strategies and successfully acquiring new business.
  • Experience in selling various software solutions across multiple business lines.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate forecasts for your territory using sales tools and analytics to identify high-potential customers and develop strategies for success.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to facilitate growth.
