THE MID-MARKET SALES OPPORTUNITY AT ALTIUM

Altium's ambition to lead the electronic design software sector is actively underway, and our dynamic Mid-Market Sales team is at the forefront of this initiative. Joining this team means becoming part of a high-energy environment focused on fast-paced, high-volume sales. Our Mid-Market Sales team has been instrumental in achieving a remarkable 75% revenue increase over five years, with a 23% growth from the previous year. This role offers significant career advancement opportunities for high-achieving individuals as you contribute to Altium's expansion.

This position allows for a hybrid work arrangement.

A DAY IN THE ROLE OF A MID-MARKET ACCOUNT MANAGER

  • Driving the growth of our subscription base is the primary success indicator for this role.
  • The Account Manager will cultivate existing accounts and develop innovative campaigns to surpass sales objectives and maximize market potential.
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily sales activity targets through strategic planning of personal sales efforts and customer engagements.
  • Maintain a transparent pipeline in Salesforce, adhering to all process requirements.
  • Analyze sales data effectively to enhance the sales process.
  • Embrace Altium's sales methodologies and processes with enthusiasm.
  • Present the Value Proposition for Altium 365, our cloud-based platform, to engineering teams and management, both in-person and online.
  • Become well-versed in Altium's product offerings and technologies to communicate confidently with technical audiences.
  • Stay informed about competitive products and industry trends.

WHAT WE SEEK IN CANDIDATES

  • A proactive approach to sales targets and professional goals, emphasizing quality and business success.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience, ideally in inside sales, telesales, or business development within the software or technology sector, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Ability to navigate past gatekeepers and gather critical decision-maker insights. A strong focus on customer needs and a commitment to understanding their challenges.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in all interactions.
  • Organized, resilient, and tenacious in outreach efforts, with a strong focus on developing new relationships.
  • A resourceful, action-oriented, and collaborative team player.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and change with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
